Mind Body Systems Explained

Fasting And Understanding Depression Vs Happiness, Tolerance, Etc.

1 Corinthians 6:19, which states: "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you?, whom you have from God? You are not your own."

Quick disclaimer: I hope that whoever is reading this is educated enough to know what an academic source is, because ignorant people really are annoying and frankly, a problem. It's both sad and alarming that there are a large number of government employees, especially those in the Pensacola FBI, DEA, and SRCSO, that are clinically retarded. They don't know what evidence is, what a citation is, they don't know what an academic source is, they think the news is fake, they don't know what it means to be a patriot, or an American, and are dictated by "group think" rather than logic, reason, and righteousness, as well as their narcissism. If you or anyone else thinks or claims that this blog is "fake news", then show this url to a college professor, and they can explain to you how all of the sources that I cite herein are credible, academic, authoritative sources, and are good enough for a college professor. Thanks
Introduction: On this blog, I will cite authoritative academic sources, and explain the difference between upregulation, and downregulation, and how this plays a role in our mood and tolerance to drugs. I also want to talk about exercise, and how it can induce the release of endogenous chemicals that make us feel good, and can fight depression naturally. I will discuss tolerance to drugs, how to reverse this, and more.
Upregulation Vs Downregulation: "Upregulation refers to a gradual increase in the total number of receptor sites on cells or tissues."[1] When you stop using a drug, your body begins the upregulation process where receptor sites increase, and your tolerance then goes down. As the National Institute Of Health puts it: "Numerous studies have shown that chronic exposure of a receptor to an antagonist typically leads to upregulation, or an increased number of receptors, while chronic exposure of a receptor to an agonist causes downregulation, or a decreased number of receptors"[3] This raises the questions: What is an antagonist?, and What is an Agonist? Answer: "Agonists are drugs that bind and activate receptors. Antagonists are drugs that bind to receptors without activating them, and consequently prevent the binding of other agonists."[4] So basically, if it binds to AND ACTIVATES the receptor, then it causes downregulation over time. With this in mind, sense we know that antagonist leads to upregulation, we can use this information to our advantage as a sort of "bio-hack". This is what modern herbalism is all about, because knowledge is power. Hosea 4:6 My people perish from lack of knowledge. What is a receptor? "Receptor molecules receive signals from outside the cell, passing them inside. They are cell surface proteins that catch molecules and send signals."[2] In my own words, a receptor is something that exist on cells, and they're like a lock that sits and waits for keys to turn them on. THC is a good way to explain what is happening with cellular receptors, because the substance plugs into receptors(like a key), cannabinoid receptors to be specific[5], and thus a response occurs. "Each neuron acts as a switch controlling the flow of information. If a neuron receives enough signals from other neurons that it is connected to, it fires, sending its own signal on to other neurons in the circuit."[6] "The neurotransmitter crosses the synapse and attaches to receptors on the receiving neuron, like a key into a lock."[6]
Based on what we learned in the previous paragraph, I thought it would be cool to list some Cannabinoid antagonist because they induce upregulation(an increase in receptors), thus lowering tolerance. We'll get to those in a minute. A major intention of this website is to be educational, so let's go over some terms first. Remember receptors pick up on drugs, both endogenous and exogenous. According to the National Cancer Institute, endogenous means produced inside an organism or cell, and exogenous means external, or from outside of the body[ie drugs/alcohol,etc]).[7] Examples of exogenous drugs include: opiates such as heroin, morphine, and codeine.[8] Examples of Endogenous drugs(in this case opioids) include enkephalins and endorphins, and they are primarily produced in the brain and have multiple actions throughout the body.[9] Anyway, "CBD(Cannabidiol) has been reported to act as an antagonist at cannabinoid CB1 receptors."[10] Based on what we learned above, that would mean that it should trigger upregulation(an increase in receptor sites), which should lower tolerance. The only problem with using CBD for this purpose, is that the CBD/hemp market is flooded with pharmakeia(tainted products that are more poisonous than beneficial), and this is because it is mostly an occult/pharmaceutical industry. There's also lots of cheating, toe stomping, and sabotage going on in America in terms of the economy, as the socialist have waged war on America. See my blog post titled: Ethnobotanical Industry Attacked By Cheaters And Criminals In Government, Toe Stomping And Sabotage Exposed (click it to read it)

"During the 1980s, researchers discovered that the endogenous opioid system, and met-enkephalin, in particular, regulates cell proliferation in normal and neoplastic cell lines."[11] These facts really illustrate just how far scientist have evolved in terms of climbing the trees of knowledge. "Enkephalins are known to be distributed extensively throughout mammals' central, peripheral, and autonomic nervous systems."[11] "Met-enkephalin has been shown to have immunomodulatory effects on various cell types."[11] "Enkephalins exert their physiological effect through specific opioid receptors broadly distributed in the body. Three major classes of opioid receptors exist: mu (mainly expressed in the CNS), delta (equally expressed in the CNS and spinal cord), and kappa (expressed primarily in the spinal cord). The fourth class of opioid receptors, called nociceptin, was discovered in 1994, but is not considered to be part of the aforementioned tripartite group, which is often referred to as the classical opioid receptors. Enkephalins have the highest affinity for the delta-opioid receptor."[11] To reiterate, there's: MU opioid receptors, Delta opioid receptors, and Kappa opioid receptors. "In response to stress, organisms release corticotropin-releasing factor, which, in turn, stimulates the production of catecholamines while simultaneously producing endogenous opioids, including enkephalins and endorphins. The postulate is that the endogenous opioid system regulates the intensity and duration of the stress response via multiple mechanisms."[11] With this in mind, any kind of herbal supplement or superfood that may promote the production and release of these endogenous opioids could help reduce stress.
It's very important to keep your opioid system healthy. "Dysregulation of the endogenous opioid system has implications in various disease states, reflecting its wide distribution throughout the human nervous system and body."[11] Here's a great reason to cut back on the alcohol if you're chronic on it: "Downregulation of both pro-dynorphin and pro-enkephalin occurred in the caudate nucleus of alcoholics"[11] I don't get drunk per see, but this alone is inspiring me to drink less. The University of Sydney Australia seems to think that boosting natural brain opioids may be a better way to treat anxiety. https://www.sydney.edu.au/news-opinion/news/2017/03/23/boosting-natural-brain-opioids-may-be-better-way-to-treat-anxiet.html According to the University: "Our study showing that endogenous opioids strongly regulate the neural pathways important in anxiety disorders suggests that future therapies for anxiety disorders could target the endogenous opioid system."[12] Furthermore: "Experiments in mice have shown that 'deleting' the natural opioid known as enkephalin, which is heavily expressed in the brain's amygdala, increases their fear, anxiety and aggressiveness. By contrast, increasing enkephalin or reducing its breakdown reduces these behaviours."[12] This is more very useful information. I will research which foods, herbs, and even phytochemicals reduce the breakdown of enkephalin, or increases its production. That will be added to this blog for sure. Remember that exercise is an alternative to drugs! "Regular running exercise increases serum and cerebrospinal fluid content of endogenous opioids."[13]

Spicey Foods And Peppers Affects On Endorphines, Dopamine, And Interactions with THC/CBD:
"Throughout all the pain associated with spicy foods, the consumption of these foods releases endorphins and dopamine. This creates euphoria similar to a 'runners high.'"[14] Traditional spices contain a phytochemical called capsaicin, including most peppers.[14] I've noticed this myself, and have always bragged about how well peppers work as a way to boost the properties of Cannabis in order to get the most out of it, but this goes for any other orally consumed herbal drug or herbal medicine as well. Interestingly, according to the National Library Of Medicine: "A fundamental subdivision of nociceptive sensory neurons is named after their unique sensitivity to capsaicin, the pungent ingredient in hot chili peppers, and these are called capsaicin-sensitive afferents.."[15] I've always noticed that spicey food enhances the properties of Cannabis, so learning more about how that works, and seeing scientific confirmation is exciting. "THC and cannabinol induce a CB1/CB2 cannabinoid receptor-independent release of calcitonin gene-related peptide from capsaicin-sensitive perivascular sensory nerves."[17] So there's a peptide that the capsaicin-sensitive perivascular sensory nerves release when THC and CBD are introduced.. That's fascinating. Do you know what Peptides are? "Peptides play an essential role in fundamental physiological processes and are necessary for many biochemical processes."[16] A quick example of a more commonly known peptide is: Oxytocin, the "love hormone", which is produced by the posterior pituitary.[16][18] It's both a peptide and a hormone, it's a "peptide hormone".[16] Insulin is also another peptide hormone, and there are many others.[16] Anyway, let's discuss this peptide that is released when THC/CBD are introduced into the mix.. Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) is a 37-amino acid neuropeptide![19]
Endocannabinoid System: "The endocannabinoid system is an important constituent of the neuronal substrates involved in the reinforcement and reward processes of the brain. It modulates(see definition here) the rewarding and pharmacological responses induced by cannabinoids, as well as those induced by other drugs of abuse."[24] That's not all the endocannabinoid system does however, as it is also tied in with the immune system, and neuroprotection[26], as well as the pineal gland.[27] Neuroprotective means it protects the brain.[27] The National Library Of Medicine confirms the endocannabinoid/pineal connection when it states that: "The pineal gland comprises indispensable compounds of the endocannabinoid system indicating that endocannabinoids may be involved in the control of pineal physiology."[26] According to Harvard University: "We know that the ECS plays a critical role in learning and memory due to several lines of research."[5] I've used Cannabis sense I was a teenager, and I can see that this is true, as I can observe a connection between Cannabis use, and learning and intelligence. For non-users, idiots who take pills, and those raised by socialist, this probably sounds absurd, but those same people are idiots. Want evidence? Fluoride is often put into pharmaceuticals[31], and according to Harvard University: "Children in high-fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ scores than those who lived in low-fluoride areas."[30] For me, Cannabis makes me feel more philosophical, deep, and introspective. Introspective means: "Characterized by examination of one's own thoughts and feelings : thoughtfully reflective"[25] Pills on the other hand, make people stupid: "Some prescription medications contain fluoride, but not as the active ingredient."[31] I've already cited Harvard University that proves fluoride makes people less intelligent, and now we have proof via the National Institute Of Health that it's being put into pills. ( https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Fluoride-HealthProfessional/) This would explain why people who use pharma's have fried brains that can't seem to connect the dots or see that the sky is blue. These are the same buffoons that believe the news is fake, and call people who follow evidence "conspiracy theorist".
Harm Reduction Note: It's important to know that "thca flower" is not authentic God-made Cannabis, and doesn't have the same health effects as regular illegal Marijuana, because it is tainted, and not the way God made it(it's genetically engineered: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8476804/) Genetically engineered does not mean the same thing as "hybrid". Hybrids are naturally cross-pollinated by humans or bee's, while GMO's are mad-scientist abominations.[29] According to the National Human Genome Research Institute(Genome.GOV): Genetic engineering (also called genetic modification) is a process that uses laboratory-based technologies to alter the DNA makeup of an organism."[28] "Hemp derived" thc and cbd products are dangerous, tainted, often laced with neurodegenerative proplyene glycol, and the vapes rot teeth.(see my Cannabis page where I expose this and back it up too) I'm an eye witness. Get real cannabis seeds from HerbiesHeadShop while you can, and get regular(non-feminized), and feminized, so you can breed your own before the socialist rope off all God-made genetics. The socialist are using their synthetic thc products with the word "hemp" slapped on them to soften the blow, as weapons. They're lacing "hemp" with proplyene glycol to induce neurodegeneration, kill brain cells, and induce inflammation[33], thus slowly causing brain fog(over-time), and then slandering God by telling everyone the lie that "thc has always caused brain fog", and it's simply not true. Being stoned and "brain fog" are not the same thing. No one even heard the phrase "brain fog", until post-covid19. Anti-Marijuana propaghanda began in the early 1900's with films like "reefer madness", where the socialist first made false claims that Cannabis causes people to go insane and is connected to mental illness(lies). Even Stanford University says: "Reefer Madness was the title of a 1930's American propaganda film that told the story of how an entire high school student body was introduced to smoking marijuana cigarettes. However, while the film was intentioned as a cautionary tale to parents about the grave and immoral consequences of allowing their kids to smoke marijuana (i.e. murder, kidnapping, rape, automotive homicide), it was soon made satire by critics and advocates alike. "[32] By the way, according to Oregon State University, Satire means: "Satire is the art of making someone or something look ridiculous"[34] To this day these lies still live on. There's never been more deception. Every illegal Cannabis user on the planet knows that what I am saying is true, but sadly most police and DEA don't, because they're brains are fried from pharma's laced with fluoride and God knows what else. Idiots. Only real Marijuana(illegal marijuana) that's underground, is safe. The Pensacola FBI, DEA, and SRCSO decided it was more important for them to go after entrepreneurs who import $50 worth of kratom at a time, than to try to stop teeth rotting delta8thc vapes, and it turns out importing kratom is not even illegal(they're literally clinically retarded). They're involved in illegal prostitution operations, drug theft and distribution operations, and property theft operations, and they're all skin colors working together.(see 850.NEWS for all the evidence) They're total scum bags.

Anandamide(N-arachidonoylethanolamine): "It has been demonstrated in animal models that the endocannabinoid anandamide has anti-hyperalgesic properties upon capsaicin stimulation, albeit it also binds to vanilloid receptors."[20] Hyperalgesic means: "An increased sensitivity to feeling pain and an extreme response to pain."[23] With that in mind, Anti-hyperalgesic means: A drug that decreases sensitivity to feelings of pain. If you've ever experienced a runners high, then you know what THC feels like on a basic level. Anandamide produces a tingly euphoric sensation in the brain after exercise, similar to that of a sharp sativa strain of Cannabis. "Several studies demonstrate that anandamide exerts an overall modulatory effect on the brain reward circuitry."[24] I've observed that sometimes when I fast, I feel stoned out of nowhere, as if I consumed some Cannabis, and even at times without exercise. Here's an interesting fact: "Enhanced brain levels of anandamide after treatment with inhibitors of fatty acid amide hydrolase, the main enzyme responsible for its degradation, seem to affect the rewarding and reinforcing actions of many drugs of abuse."[24]
2-Arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG): I was very excited when I first read about this, as I love learning about new things related to biology, neurology, and pharmacology(drugs, both endogenous and exogenous). "2-AG(2-Arachidonoylglycerol) was the second endocannabinoid to be identified; it was isolated from the rat brain and the canine gut"[24] I was surprised to learn that:
Limbic System: According to the University Of Queensland: "The limbic system is the part of the brain involved in our behavioural and emotional responses, especially when it comes to behaviours we need for survival."[44] The limbic system is understood to have links to emotional, memory, and motivational processes that connect to other parts of the brain.[41] "Clinically, some specific disorders occur when parts of the limbic system suffer a lesion."[41] Another interesting fact stated by the National Library Of Medicine source that I cite on this subject, is that the limbic system plays a role in "social processing" as well.[41] It's a critical part of your neurology and anything that is bad for it is bad for humanity as a whole, because this part of the brain when dysfunctional causes people to behave in an evil fashion(lacking emotional intelligence). It seems self evident that apathetic people likely have a limbic system that's not working as it should. It becomes especially apparent when we look at which drugs affect the limbic system the most, and the most notorious one's that I can think of, are amphetamines, which I discuss below.
MDMA/Methamphetamines Can Break(Damage) The Limbic System: Via the National Library Of Medicine: "Several studies have focused on the changes in the limbic system, specifically the hippocampus, owing to the fact that the main symptoms of METH abuse pertain to the limbic system. Chronic METH exposure has been shown to lead to long-lasting cognitive deficits in clinical and in experimental models of METH abuse"[36] I picked up on the fact that MDMA affects the limbic system back in the day when I messed with it.[35] What you may or may not know, is that MDMA is actually a type of methamphetamines.[37] The scientific name for MDMA is 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine.[37] What this means is that the emotional center of the brain is being bombarded with this alien drug(exogenous dope[methamphetamines]), and over time as the limbic system becomes more and more desensitized to the excessive stimulation from the substance abuse, what happens is the user becomes more and more sociopathic as the emotional processing center of their brain becomes dysfunctional. It's rather self explanatory in this case(postulate[self evident]) These harmful effects on ones psychology apply to both MDMA and Meth, as both drugs target the limbic system, and are both forms of methamphetamines.[35][36][37] Academic sources confirm for us that: "Long-term methamphetamine abuse can induce neurotoxic effects".[38] That means meth damages the brain, which shouldn't be surprising! "Several lines of evidence suggest that chronic Methamphetamine abuse leads to neurodegenerative changes in the human brain."[39] Neurodegenerative changes means Neurodegeneration, which means: "Neurodegenerative diseases occur when nerve cells in the brain or peripheral nervous system lose function over time and ultimately die."[40] FYI Proplyene glycol that's being slipped into various products, pharma's, even food items, slowly induces neurodegeneration.[33] I've found it listed on the ingredients list for Sunscreen, Coconut, and Hemp derived thc gummies, as well as cbd-roll ons and other legal cannabis products. They can hide these ingredients too. Beware of "natural flavors". Proplyene glycol has other names it can be listed under as well.
Exercise To Feel Better And Happier And Have More Energy: According to the National Institute Of Health, Regular walking is very good for you, and can lower your risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes, as well as strengthen your bones and muscles, and help you to maintain a healthy weight, as well as elevate your mood.[42] Regular walking is also good for your cholesterol profile, for helping control hypertension, and to slow down the process of osteoporosis.[43] It's something you don't have to pay for, and it is like a medicine that you don't have to consume to benefit from. You'll also be rewarded with the "runners high" after you're finished. =)
Fasting For Happiness And Gratitude: What is fasting? In my own words it is the deliberate temporary abstinence from all things pleasurable(anything that gives you a dopamine boost). According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, fasting is defined as: "Fasting, abstinence from food or drink or both for health, ritualistic, religious, or ethical purposes."[21] There are those who fast, and those who binge. Guess who is happier, more grateful and appreciative, and less anxious and more at peace? Those who fast are the ones who are happier, more grateful and appreciative, and less anxious and more at peace, that's who. Based on everything we've learned above, you should be able to see why. Fasting has both spiritual and physical health benefits. "Matthew 6:18 - That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly." God has our bodies designed to reward those who don't go over board with things like Cannabis, Kratom, and any other natural God-made medicine. Abusing these substances leads to them being less effective. This is where fasting comes into play, and it rewards those who are responsible. Another interesting fact sourced from the Encyclopedia Britannica is: "Fasting has been used therapeutically since at least the 5th century bce, when Greek physician Hippocrates recommended abstinence from food or drink for patients who exhibited certain symptoms of illness. "[21] Remember the saying, "Less is more", because it is true! Fasting is a natural way to curb depression, and dis-satisfaction with life. According to the National Library Of Medicine: "Fasting shows great potential in preventing chronic diseases and has to be surmounted under some extraordinary circumstances."[22]
